BLI 5961 N Scale 2-8-2 Mikado Steam Locomotive Southern Railway 4875 Paragon3 DCC

This N Scale USRA 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado from Broadway Limited is based on the 233 USRA-built locos as well as 957 copies built after WWI-era USRA control. The Heavy Mikado was delivered to 23 railroads, although some eventually went on to other lines and successors.

This detailed model features full Paragon3 sound and DCC for realistic sound and motor control complete with back EMF for smooth slow speeds. The Paragon3 sound system works with all Broadway Limited Rolling Thunder advanced sound systems. Other features of this steam locomotive include a heavy die cast body and chassis; smooth-running flywheel-equipped drive, traction tires, applied handrails and other details; directional warm white LED lighting, synchronized smoke and magnetic knuckle couplers. This N Scale USRA 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado locomotive can be operated on all DCC systems as well as on standard DC railroads (with limited sound functionality). This model has wheels profiled to operate on Code 55 and larger rail and curves of 9.75″ radius or larger are recommended. The USRA 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado comes in multiple roadnumbers for each railroad when appropriate.
