This N Scale USRA 2-8-2 Light Mikado from Broadway Limited is based on the 625 USRA-built locos as well as 641 copies built after WWI-era USRA control. The light Mikado was delivered to over 50 railroads.

This detailed model features full Paragon3 sound and DCC for realistic sound and motor control complete with back EMF for smooth slow speeds. The Paragon3 sound system works with all Broadway Limited Rolling Thunder advanced sound systems. Other features of this steam locomotive include a heavy die cast body and chassis; smooth-running flywheel-equipped drive, traction tires, applied handrails and other details; directional warm white LED lighting, synchronized smoke and magnetic knuckle couplers. This N Scale USRA 2-8-2 Light Mikado locomotive can be operated on all DCC systems as well as on standard DC railroads (with limited sound functionality). This model has wheels profiled to operate on Code 55 and larger rail and curves of 9.75″ radius or larger are recommended. The USRA 2-8-2 Light Mikado comes in multiple roadnumbers for each railroad when appropriate.
